BuiltByBrevia (“we”, “our”, or “the Company”) is a Digital Marketing & Tech Studio based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. We provide professional development services including scalable websites, mobile applications, SaaS platforms, and e-commerce solutions tailored for brands, creatives, startups, and enterprises. These Terms & Conditions govern all engagements with BuiltByBrevia, including project execution, payment, communication, and responsibilities between the Company and its clients, staff, interns, and freelance collaborators.

By working with BuiltByBrevia, whether as a client, intern, freelancer, or employee, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms ensure professional transparency, legal clarity, and mutual respect throughout all engagements.

Service Engagement and Advance Payment
All services begin only upon mutual agreement and confirmation of the project scope. Clients are required to pay 50% of the total project cost as an advance before the start of work. This advance is non-refundable once the project has commenced, regardless of project changes or withdrawal by the client. The remaining 50% is payable as per milestones or before final delivery, depending on the agreement.

Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to provide timely feedback, required content, files, logins, approvals, and any other material essential for the project. Delays caused due to lack of response or incomplete inputs may result in project timeline shifts or additional charges.

Payment Terms for Interns, Staff, and Freelancers
All interns and staff at BuiltByBrevia will receive their respective payments or stipends on the 4th day of each calendar month. In case of banking holidays, payments will be processed on the next available working day.
Freelancers hired on a compensation or one-time basis will receive payment within 24 hours of the client’s advance payment to BuiltByBrevia, provided they submit all agreed deliverables and necessary documentation (e.g., invoice, contract).

Ownership and Intellectual Property
All project deliverables, including code, designs, assets, or documentation, remain the intellectual property of BuiltByBrevia until full payment is received. Upon full payment, ownership of the final approved output transfers to the client. However, BuiltByBrevia retains the right to use the work (excluding sensitive data) in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
All clients, interns, freelancers, and staff agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding project information, client details, workflows, or any non-public information shared during the engagement. Violation of this clause may result in legal action or immediate termination of the relationship.

Portfolio Rights
Unless explicitly restricted in writing, BuiltByBrevia reserves the right to showcase completed projects, client logos, or testimonials on its website, social media, case studies, or marketing materials.

Limitation of Liability
BuiltByBrevia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from delays, interruptions, or the use of services provided.

Force Majeure
BuiltByBrevia will not be held responsible for failure to meet obligations due to circumstances beyond its control. These include but are not limited to natural disasters, strikes, technical outages, power failures, internet disruptions, pandemics, or governmental restrictions.

Termination Clause
BuiltByBrevia reserves the right to pause or terminate any project or engagement due to violations of these terms, non-payment, unresponsive communication, breach of contract, or confidentiality violations. Any services performed up to that point will be billed accordingly.

Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Acceptance of Terms
By making a payment, entering into an agreement, or beginning any project or internship with BuiltByBrevia, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.
